The Cosmic Guitar, by Cosmic Studio, is the first in a new class of musical instruments built on the resonance of high-frequency electromagnetic waves. The Cosmic Guitar physically makes music, but not sounds, since our ears can’t hear the electromagnetic waves it makes. The app plugin modifies input music using measurements of the Cosmic Guitar, as well the physics of electromagnetic wave interactions between a coaxial cable and Cosmic Guitar, to translate Cosmic Guitar behaviors into music we can actually hear. Using the Cosmic Guitar App you can vary the physical properties of either the cable or guitar using the knobs to create the perfect instrument tone for your music.
